Optoglas insulates 30% better than equivalent thermal windows and has a better U-value (2.2) than a 2-layer thermal window. By using special neutral energy glass, a U-value of 1.7 is achieved – equivalent to a 3-layer thermal pane (DS 418).

Optoglas has no frame and is mounted on the inside of the existing window frame using two small hinges and a storm hook. Therefore, the window does not change the look or the amount of light.
Optoglas is fitted on the opening frame, so there is no need to clear objects from the windowsill when the window is opened.
